Abstract:The aggravating trend of the aging population, the miniaturization of the family structure, and the increase of families with empty nesters greatly affect the sustainable development of the national economy and social old-age security system of China. The emergence of home health care or home care (HHC/HC) service mode provides an alternative for elderly care. How to develop and apply this new mobile service mode is crucial for the government. Therefore, the pertinent optimization problems regarding HHC/HC have constantly attracted the attention of researchers. Unexpected events, such as new requests of customers, cancellations of customers' services, and changes of customers' time windows, may occur during the process of executing an a priori visiting plan. These events may sometimes make the original plan non-optimal or even infeasible. To cope with this situation, we introduce disruption management to the real-time home caregiver scheduling and routing problem. The deviation measurements on customers, caregivers, and companies are first defined. A mathematical model that minimizes the weighted sum of deviation measurements is then constructed. Next, a tabu search (TS) heuristic is developed to efficiently solve the problem, and a cost recorded mechanism is used to strengthen the performance. Finally, by performing computational experiments on three real-life instances, the effectiveness of the TS heuristic is tested, and the advantages of disruption management are analyzed.

ResumenLas líneas de ensamble tradicionalmente han sido utilizadas para producir grandes cantidades de un único modelo. Para aprovechar las ventajas de estas en ambientes de manufactura flexibles, se pueden implementar líneas de modelos mixtos las cuales permiten ensamblar diferentes productos de una familia en una misma línea; sin embargo, su balanceo requiere técnicas diferentes de las tradicionales. En esta investigación se hizo una revisión bibliográfica para analizar los factores que afectan las líneas de modelos mixtos y con base en esto se desarrolló un modelo de optimización matemática que estabiliza las cargas de trabajo, facilitando la decisión sobre las secuencias de producción que se programan en la línea. El modelo se corrió en varios escenarios y se obtuvieron resultados significativamente mejores que los obtenidos con un método tradicional de balance.Palabras clave: balance de línea, modelos mixtos, balance horizontal.

Summary One of the most critical issues in using service‐oriented technologies is the combination of services, which has become an important challenge in the present. There are some significant challenges in the service composition, most notable is the quality of service (QoS), which is more challenging due to changing circumstances in dynamic service environments. Also, trust value in the case of selection of more reliable services is another challenge in the service composition. Due to NP‐hard complexity of service composition, many metaheuristic algorithms have been used so far. Therefore, in this paper, the honeybee mating optimization algorithm as one of the powerful metaheuristic algorithms is used for achieving the desired goals. To improve the QoS, inspirations from the mating stages of the honeybee, the interactions between honeybees and queen bee mating and the selection of the new queen from the relevant optimization algorithm have been used. To address the trust challenge, a trust‐based clustering algorithm has also been used. The simulation results using C# language have shown that the proposed method in small scale problem acts better than particle swarm optimization algorithm, genetic algorithm, and discrete gbest‐guided artificial bee colony algorithm. With the clustering and reduction of the search space, the response time is improved; also, more trusted services are selected. The results of the simulation on a large‐scale problem have indicated that the proposed method is exhibited worse performance than the average results of previous works in computation time.
