Abstract:Most digital holographic microscopy architectures introduce a microscope objective in the object arm of the micro-interferometer in order to increase lateral resolution but, as a consequence, a spherical phase aberration arises. The phase distortion must be corrected to achieve reliable phase information linked to the microscopic object under study. In this work, we present a fast and simple numerical method for automatically compensate the phase curvature from the wrapped phase gradient of the reconstructed h… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
