An 8‐year‐old girl with a papule on her cheek

Abstract: An 8-year-old girl with no past medical history presented with a painful, intermittently pruritic, red facial papule. A small red rash had appeared on her right cheek soon after birth and over the years grew into a verrucous papule. Approximately 6 months before presentation, the papule began to bleed intermittently. Before presentation, no treatment had been attempted, and the mother had been covering it with a bandage.
