Abstract:The reaction of natural isoflavones formononetin and cladrin with primary amines and formalin in the presence of a base catalyst was studied. Several novel substituted 9,10-dihydro-4H, 8H-chromeno [8,7-e] [1,3]oxazin-4-ones containing alkyl, benzyl, or heterylalkyl substituents in the N-9 position were synthesized.Flavonoids, some representatives of which are present in practically all plant species, are the most widely distributed natural compounds of plant origin [1].Isolation of the natural isoflavone form… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
