“…The multidisciplinary treatment planning for the patient included orthodontic treatment with miniscrew, crown lengthening, osteoplasty and full coverage crowns on all teeth aimed at functional occlusion and improved aesthetics and psychosocial condition of the patient. An ideal occlusion might not always be the treatment goal for AI patients due to complex craniofacial and dental abnormalities (Arkutu, Gadhia, McDonald, Malik, & Currie, ). Orthodontic treatments in AI patients showed a successful outcome with satisfied post‐treatment stability (Bechor, Finkelstein, Shapira, & Shpack, ; Yilmaz, Oz, & Yilmaz, ).…”

“…12 Compared with the conventional multivisit treatment approaches, the 1-visit chairside CAD/CAM approach described is advantageous as additional appointments are no longer necessary for the replacement of poorly-fitting stainless steel crowns on permanent molars. 8 Compound CAD/CAM materials such as resin-based nanoceramic might be preferable for chairside treatments because of their fast postprocessing protocol.…”
