“…Only five cases of contact dermatitis caused by wigs have been reported. In two of them the cause was the dyes used in the wig, in another one no epicutaneous tests could be performed to confirm the diagnosis, but in the remaining two patients acrylates were used to fix the wigs . The main allergens in contact eczema related to a wig would apparently be these two.…”
