“…In this sense, even if a single case is conducted, some generalizations can be attempted when the context involves decisive, rare, typical, revealing, and longitudinal cases. 9 As a strategy to get to know particularities of the family, which is the object of this case study, the Calgary Model of Assessment and Intervention in the Family was used, along with the construction of the family genogram and ecomap 5 , in order to know the outline of the family and family relationships in a scenario of violence, in addition to social relationships and support networks.
