“…In Colombia, several aerobiological studies have been performed, such as those published by Fernández (1965, 1966) about allergenic pollen grains; Sánchez and Ortiz (1961), Álvarez et al (1965), Grose et al (1967), Rincón & Macías (1969) and Hurtado et al (1989) regarding allergenic fungi; whereas Schnetter (1971) conducted studies of pollen sedimentation.
