Agroecological stability of cultivars of sparsely distributed legumes in the context of climate change

Abstract: A prerequisite for increasing the area of sparsely distributed leguminous crops lies in the analysis of their cultivars according to agroecological indicators. Therefore, the purpose was to develop the State Register of plant cultivars suitable for distribution in Ukraine for 2021 and Official descriptions of plant cultivars and indicators of economic suitability, highlighted in the information and reference system “Sort” (cultivar) regarding the assessment of agroecological resistance of cultivars of sparsely… Show more

“…For some species that are almost incapable of vegetative regeneration, this is the only possible way to procreate. Seed reproduction of most tree species remains the main method due to technological simplicity, the possibility to mechanize the process and overall cost savings [7]. In the process of seed propagation the number of new plants increases, and young organisms acquire new features not characteristic of the parent plants.…”

“…Since in natural conditions conifers are propagated mainly by seeds, the methods of their vegetative propagation are not so well developed as for the other groups of plants. In this case, the offspring may not inherit some valuable traits, especially important in reproduction of exotic decorative forms [7].…”

“…Organic seeds are more useful for consumers due to the minimization of negative health effects of toxic and persistent chemicals (Piwowar et al, 2021;Petrychenko et. al., 2014;Mazur et. al., 2021;Marconi et.…”

“…The most widely-used methods of soybean (Glycine max) breeding include mass and individual selection, intraspecific and remote hybridization, experimental mutagenesis and a combination of these methods (Carroll et al, 1985;Riabukha and Kobyzieva, 2010;Kyrychenko, et al, 2016), genetic engineering methods (Babych, et al, 2011;Paziuk et al, 2021), heterosis breeding (Mazur et al, 2021a). The method of synthetic breeding involves a sufficiently large volume of crossings with the involvement of the genetically diverse source material.…”
