This study aims to explore the effect of tsunami risk perception and destination image on the intention of returning tourists. The data collection technique used purposive sampling which was distributed to 171 tourists who had visited Anyer Beach. Hypothesis testing was carried out using multiple linear regression through the SPSS 26 for windows program. The results showed that the perception of tsunami risk and the image of the destination in Anyer Beach had a negative effect on the intention to return to Anyer Beach. Although there is no direct influence of perception of tsunami risk on intention to revisit, this study found that the image of the destination was able to reduce the level of tourists' perception of tsunami risk, so that they were willing to revisit disaster-prone destinations.

The Mandalika Special Economic Zone is included in five super Priority Travel Destinations throughout Indonesia. Mandalika has two main potential tourist attractions: the beauty of white sand and green hills along the coastline that stretches for 7.2 km. The target for Mandalika for Total Hotels & Resorts is 10,000 units, and villas, condominiums, and townhouses are 3800 units which will potentially become a source of waste. The total landfill in Mandalika is 215.7 tonnes/per year. Waste management, including waste reduction and handling in Mandalika, must be of particular concern to area managers, tourism managers, communities, tourists and local governments. Efforts that the Regional Government has made are increasing the number of landfills, garbage collection vehicles and cleaners. In addition, what is no less important is the need to educate the public about cleanliness and training in organic and inorganic waste management. Community involvement around Mandalika will positively impact the local community's economy because the results of waste processing by recycling and composting can be re-sold.

Tanjung Kelayang is a tourism special economic zones (SEZ) established in Belitung regency, Indonesia, as an alternative and sustainable income to the community after the decline of tin mining. The TSEZ is focusing on rural and heritage tourism although mining activities are actively and continuously conducted. SEZs have been successful in some countries; however, India, China, and African countries have experienced less success in several aspects. The TSEZ offers some benefits but is vulnerable to external shock, since it was not developed based on a comprehensive design, and is associated with horizontal conflicts. This study reviewed Tanjung Kelayang's TSEZ policy based on SEZ implementation in various countries as a comparative study by adjusting the context of the phenomena occurring in Tanjung Kelayang. This research produced a review related to the TSEZ’s design, facilities, rules and regulations, also efforts to overcome horizontal conflicts.
