Redenomination discourse has become a concern, again, in line with the instructions of the Indonesian President to the Finance Minister to re-socialize the program to the society. Socialization is important given the Indonesian society is geographical, demographical, and psychographic heterogeneous. The heterogeneous society is potential to have a low understanding level of what and how redenomination would be applied, while the ignorance would trigger rush and hyperinflation. Hence, a research is needed to acknowledge the people understanding about redenomination. This is a door knocking survey which involved 600 respondents in Semarang, Kudus, and Banjarnegara as representatives of Indonesian society with diverse backgrounds. The data were processed using Cramer's V Test and Crosstab. The results show that Indonesians' understanding of redenomination is low, especially the people living far from the government centers. In addition, educational factors and occupations are the main factors that determine the level of understanding on redenomination. There is an indication that the higher the education, the higher the public understanding of redenomination. Similarly, people with the Teachers/Lecturers profession, working in the formal sector, and have managerial positions, have a better understanding of redenomination, than people who are not working or working in the informal sector.
Indonesia is one of the countries that develop traditional herbal medicine, which is called Jamu. However, Jamu is consumed by the poor. Meanwhile, the rich prefer to use modern health treatment. In addition, there is no sufficient confident of people to consume Jamu as their main medical treatment. Hence, identification of potential consumer of Jamu from demographic characteristics and exploration of consumer preferences of Jamu according to the market segments in Indonesia is important for herbal medicine industry to develop a consumer-based marketing strategy. Cramer's Vtest statistical test was used for the analysis of 183 data survey. The findings are consumers of Jamu assumed that Jamu is cheap, easy to obtain, have no side effects, natural, and safe to be consumed. But, they considered herbs as an alternative medicine or therapy, and even as the last resort. Jamu is potential to be developed by product and pricing differentiation, and packaged as a product that emphasizes value with halal certification. In addition, the classification of Jamu as Phytopharmacy has not affected consumer purchasing decisions as it has not been included in the health care system. For middle up segments, Jamu needs a strong brand using English language and required medical professionals as an advisor.
Education for sustainable development (ESD) is essential to study in order to understand environmental changes from the perspective of student character building. This concept is the main foundation that refers to individual personality as a medium to build excellent capacity from an early age. At adolescent age, children experience a period with high emotional growth that encourages changes in attitudes and behavior patterns towards the surrounding environment. This exploratory study aimed at describing the relationship between environmental knowledge and studentsí attitudes and behaviors, along with challenging factors as the moderating variable, involving 320 participants from two junior high schools in two cities in Central Java, Indonesia. The data were analyzed using partial least square Smartpls v3.0. This study found that junior high school students had low environmental and social knowledge, but there was a good attitude and behavior tendency concerning the environment. The studentsí knowledge significantly influenced environmentally-friendly attitudes and behaviors, especially the social environment that the obstacles also became a significant moderating variable. Thus, schools and related parties should develop programs to increase the studentsí study orientation towards the environment and to have a collective awareness of the environment, specifically the ability to analyze and synthesize the surroundings.

This study observes the response of relevant government regarding the result of SEA studies. In August 2016, President Jokowi governed to conduct SEA for North Kendeng Mountain area due to the conflict between the government and investor preferring the utilization of this area for mining and local people demanding for conservation. North Kendeng mountain area is rich in limestone potentially utilized for cement, cosmetics, paint, and other commercial uses. SEA is expected to mediate the conflict by recommending the area for exploitation and conservation. All relevant provincial governments: Central and East Java, and regencies: Grobogan, Pati, Rembang, Blora, Tuban, Bojonegoro and Lamongan agreed to follow up President’s instruction. However, after the EIA studies finished, the provincial government of Central Java on their revision on spatial planning did not incorporate the EIA studies. The Regency government of Pati also refused to incorporate the EIA studies. Institutional and substantial arrangement are required to make SEA studies workable and implementable.

So far, the interest and aspiration of local people, both expressed through Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) studies and their own opinion aired the government, has not incorporated a variety of events at the revision of spatial planning.
