Agents for Enriched Services (AES): A generic agent - Based adaptation framework

Abstract: This paper presents AES (acronym of Agents for EnrichedServices) framework; a generic framework that can be used to enrich services and adapting an original service request to what the context information, user profile and other multiple sources of information can bring in order to improve the end-user experience in using the framework. The framework is presented along with its architecture and the way it was implemented using agents, an example showing how this framework may improve collaboration and a study … Show more

“…ontologies). All of these works allow improving the adaptation capability in their own specific areas (Torres-Ribero et al, 2011;Cremene et al, 2008). However, it is important to note that none of them are totally generic, that is, none allows the inclusion of multiple scenarios and multiple technologies to their adaptation process on any kind of services.…”

“…To address these issues, this paper presents AES (Agents for Enrichment Services), a generic framework for adapting information in mobile contexts [12]. AES can be used by an application that needs to enrich services to provide the user with information adjusted to his needs and context.…”
