Ageing causes Severe Ultra-Structural Modification of Calcium Release Units and Mitochondria in Cardiomyocytes

Abstract: Hypothesis: Decreased localization of L-type Ca 2þ channels (LTCCs) and ryanodine receptors (RyRs) to TTs in atrial cells results in increased propensity for arrhythmogenic CaT alternans.
