HintergrundDie Aufmerksamkeitsdefizit-/Hyperaktivitätsstörung (ADHS) ist die weltweit am häufigsten diagnostizierte Verhaltensstö-rung im 2]. Die ADHS ist durch eine mit dem alterstypischen Entwicklungsstand des Kindes nicht zu vereinbarende, situationsüber-greifende, andauernde und unangemessene Ausprägung von Symptomen von Unaufmerksamkeit, motorischer Unruhe (Hyperaktivität) und Impulsivität mit Beginn vor dem siebten Lebensjahr gekennzeichnet, die mit erkennbarem Leiden oder einer Beeinträchtigung der sozialen, schulischen oder beruflichen Funktionsfähigkeit einhergeht [3][4][5]. Wäh-rend die ADHS lange Zeit als eine vor allem für das Kindes-und Jugendalter typische Störung angesehen wurde, wird sie aufgrund ihrer hohen Persistenzraten im Erwachsenenalter jedoch zunehmend als Erkrankung über die Lebensspanne wahrgenommen [6,7].
