“…Stunting has a close relationship with protein intake that functions to stimulate insulin in IGF-1 (Millward, 2017;Dror & Allen, 2011). In a study in Bogor District, Indonesia, Fikawati et al (2019) reported that toddlers with inadequate protein intake were almost three times more likely to suffer from stunting compared to children with adequate protein intake.
