“…To confirm the successful doping of B atoms in g‐C 3 N 4 nanosheets, we further performed the Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR) and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) characterizations. As shown in Figure S2a (Supporting Information), the CN sample exhibits typical NH stretching vibrations, CN heterocycle stretching vibration and out‐of‐plane bending vibration of heptazine rings for g‐C 3 N 4 16,24. Comparatively, the typical BN vibration at ≈1370 cm −1 can be observed for the BCN, as well as the bands at 920 cm −1 are ascribed to the BNC species formed in BCN 25–27.…”

“…The conduction band electrons from Bi 2 W 2 O 9 can migrate to the valence band of Bi 2 S 3 due to suitable band orientation of both components. This pattern of electron migration is the characteristic features of a direct Z‐scheme heterostructure system .
