Administração de clonidina intravenosa e sua capacidade de reduzir a pressão da artéria pulmonar em pacientes submetidos a cirurgia cardíaca

Abstract: Data analysis from patients included in this study allows us to conclude that intravenous clonidine (2 μg/kg) was not able to reduce the mean pulmonary arterial pressure in patients with pulmonary hypertension in group 2 (pulmonary venous hypertension), undergoing heart surgery, or reduce or eliminate the need for intraoperative administration of dobutamine and sodium nitroprusside.

“…Erectile dysfunction and overactive bladder were significantly higher among HTLV-1 carriers than in controls. A study including symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals, shows HTLV-1 infected patients with urinary manifestations as overactive bladder (OAB), and their immunological parameters were similar to those observed in patients with HAM/TSP (CLAESSON L, SVENSSON, 2001) Urinary manifestations may represent neurological commitment, with the occurrence of nocturia, urge urinary incontinence and dysuria being more frequent in its initial phase, which may progress to stress voiding, incomplete emptying and incontinence 11 . Hyperactivity of the detrusor muscle is the most frequent finding 1,3,4,14 .…”
