Adhesives from Autohydrolysis Bagasse Lignin, a Renewable Resource - Part II. DSC Thermal Analysis of Novolac Resins

Abstract: Incorporation of autohydrolysis bagasse lignin into phenol, crcsylic acids novolac Systems via the phenolation route and a pitch-lignin mixture for binders in cellulose-based composities was studied by DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry). Different phenolic components were used in order to cvaluate the curing behaviour of various resin Systems.
