Adductor Canal Block Versus Femoral Nerve Block for Pain Control After Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction: Case Closed? Letter to the Editor

Abstract: with great interest the article of Lynch and colleagues 2 in a recent issue of the American Journal of Sports Medicine. The authors performed a randomized study on 60 patients undergoing primary anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with bone-patellar tendon-bone autograft and concluded that there is similar efficacy in perioperative pain control with the use of an adductor canal block when compared with a femoral nerve block.
