Algometers are instruments that measure actual pressure and/or pressure that causing a pressure pain threshold to be surpassed. In pressure pain threshold studies, it has been discovered that the rate at which mechanical force is applied should be steady in order to offer the maximum precision. The accuracy and composite reliability of an algometer (1000-Hz sampling rate) were tested in this study by manually applying force to a maximum force (500-Hz sampling rate). The pressure level is the lowest amount of force (pressure) that causes discomfort. Artificial intelligence is the intelligence demonstrated by machines. It mimics human intelligence and is of great help in many fields, specially medicine. Physiotherapy as a speciality is involved in curing traumatic bony injuries and pain. In physiotherapy artificial intelligence could be one of the most important modality in delivering better health services to needy people, by providing users with a digitalized system for physiotherapy.Purpose: The purpose of the review is to evaluate whether Artificial intelligence and machine learning when used as tools in musculoskeletal physiotherapy will aid the physiotherapist in better patient outcome and provide the physiotherapist with advanced tools in treating patients and reduce their workloads. A three-dimensional gait analysis system is currently widely employed as a clinical tool for determining kinematic values in musculoskeletal illnesses. Osteoarthritis is a degenerative illness that first affects the articular cartilages and then progresses to the bones and joints. More often involved are load-bearing joints such as hip and knee. Types of osteoarthritis includes primary and secondary osteoarthritis depending on the cause. Gait patterns and variables are altered in individuals with osteoarthritis. In osteoarthritis individuals, 3d gait analysis is commonly used to evaluate time and distance variables of gait. Advanced electronic systems uses infrared (IRR) cameras linked to a computer to acquire kinematic data including gait speed, stride length, and joint angles, which are used to create kinematic patterns when walking. In terms of identifying the mechanisms that produce gait disturbance and understanding compensatory gait methods, these measurements appear to be relevant in OA. Kinematic data could also be used in clinical trials to assess the efficacy of OA therapies. Various intrinsic and extrinsic factors has an influence in measurement of variables.
