-Banana farming is an activity of great economic and social importance, and is carried out in most tropical countries. The aim of this work was to evaluate the biomass accumulation and levels of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) in micropropagated plants of the banana "Prata Catarina" during the acclimatization phase, under different types and doses of biofertilisers. The experimental design included randomised blocks in a 2 × 5 + (2) factorial scheme, with two types of liquid biofertilisers (bovine biofertiliser with anaerobic and aerobic fermentation) and five biofertiliser doses (0.25, 0.50, 0.75, 1.00, and 1.25 L plant -1 week -1 ), as well as two additional treatments (control and recommended mineral fertilisation). The following variables were analysed: dry weight of the leaves and roots, and mineral element content (N, P, K, Ca, and Mg) in different parts of the plant (leaf and root). During 90 days of acclimatization, the nutritional contribution of bovine biofertiliser with anaerobic fermentation was greater in comparison with the biofertiliser with aerobic fermentation and the control, but lower in comparison with mineral fertilisation. The 1000-mL dose of the biofertiliser with anaerobic fermentation promoted greater dry weight accumulation in the leaves and roots of the banana "Prata Catarina". The biofertiliser with anaerobic fermentation promoted higher levels of N, K, and Ca in the leaves, whereas the biofertiliser with aerobic fermentation promoted higher levels of P in the leaves and roots.Keywords: Musa sp.. Prata Catarina, durante a fase de aclimatização sob diferentes tipos doses e de biofertilizantes. O delineamento experimental foi em blocos casualizados em arranjo fatorial 2 × 5 + (2), referentes a dois tipos de biofertilizantes líquidos (bovino de fermentação anaeróbia e aeróbia) e cinco doses de biofertilizantes (0,25; 0,50; 0,75; 1,00 e 1,25 L planta -1 semana -1 ), com dois tratamentos adicionais (controle e adubação mineral recomendada). The quantification of nutrients accumulated and exported by banana bunches provides information on the crop nutritional requirements. Thus, the aim of this work was to determine the nutritional demand of 'Grande Naine' and 'Prata Comum' banana bunches in the region of Vale do Ribeira, state of São Paulo. Bunch sampling was carried out in six harvest seasons, summer, and winter. The results of dry matter production and nutrient accumulation in bunches were submitted to analysis of variance. Relative growth rates (TCR), organogenic net accumulation (TALON), export and order of nutrient accumulation in bunches were estimated. K and N were the nutrients most accumulated and exported by both cultivars. In har-vest period 5 (commercial harvest), more dry matter was produced in the summer and more nutrients were accumulated in the winter. The highest TCR values were observed between periods 2 and 3 in the summer and between 0 and 1 in the winter, but it did not always follow TALON. The results obtained are important to adapt the nutritional management of these cultivars to the study region, especially in relation to the growing season, due to the longer permanence of the bunch on the plant in the winter and greater demand for nutrients until commercial harvest.

Sewage may serve as a source of water and nutrients for plants. In this study, the effects of fertigation with treated sanitary wastewater from Janaúba Sewage Treatment Plant were evaluated on the postharvest and microbiological quality of 'Prata-Anã' banana. A randomized block experimental design was used. Four concentrations of wastewater were tested (70, 130, 170, and 200% of 150 kg ha -1 sodium). A wastewater-free control treatment was used for comparison. Two crop cycles were assessed for postharvest and microbiological quality. The parameters measured included total soluble solids, titratable acidity, total soluble solids/titratable acidity ratio, pH, total coliforms, and fecal coliforms on both the peel and the pulp. In the first crop cycle, both soluble solids and fruit pulp pH decreased as wastewater level increased up to a maximum of 141.5%. These correlations were not observed in the second cycle. Wastewater management did not affect the titratable acidity of the soluble solids. The agricultural application of treated sanitary wastewater provided banana fruits with a microbiological profile similar to that obtained with the control (pure water) and with mineral fertilizers. A microbial balance is necessary to maintain the nutritional status of the banana crop. Key words: Musa spp. Agricultural wastewater reuse. Environmental sanitation. ResumoA utilização de água residuária proveniente do tratamento de esgoto, como fonte hídrica e nutricional para as plantas, é uma alternativa para racionalizar o aproveitamento do recurso natural na agricultura. O objetivo desse trabalho foi avaliar os efeitos da aplicação da água residuária sanitária de tratamento secundário da Estação de Tratamento de Esgoto de Janaúba -MG sobre a qualidade pós-colheita e microbiológica da bananeira 'Prata-Anã'. O experimento foi conduzido no delineamento de blocos casualizados. titulável, relação sólidos solúveis totais/acidez titulável e o pH. Para a análise microbiológica foram coletados frutos em cada ciclo produtivo da cultura, quando se quantificou a presença de coliformes totais e coliformes termotolerantes na casca e na polpa das bananas. No primeiro ciclo de produção da bananeira, o teor de sólidos solúveis dos frutos decresce com o aumento no aporte de água residuária sanitária tratada até o limite de 141,5%, havendo também redução do pH dos frutos, porém, tal fenômeno não é verificado no segundo ciclo. A relação sólidos solúveis:acidez titulável e a acidez titulável não são influenciadas pelo manejo com água residuária sanitária tratada. Considerando o grupo de microrganismos avaliados e tendo em vista a manutenção do equilíbrio do estado nutricional da cultura, o reúso agrícola da água residuária sanitária tratada permite a obtenção de frutos de banana com qualidade microbiológica semelhante àqueles obtidos pelo manejo com água limpa e fertilizantes minerais.
