RESUMO Estudo de caso que teve como objetivo descrever a avaliação de usuários quanto ao Acolhimento com Classificação de Risco (ACCR) e às condições de acesso ao serviço de emergência de um hospital público na Bahia. Os dados foram coletados mediante aplicação de um questionário com perguntas abertas e fechadas. Na análise, utilizaram-se métodos mistos de integração dos dados quantitativos, por meio das frequências simples das respostas dos usuários, e dados qualitativos, sendo considerados os discursos sobre o acesso e acolhimento dos usuários. Observou-se que a maioria dos participantes foi classificada com o risco na cor verde (82%); utilizou carro (44%) e ônibus (41%) como meio de transporte para ir ao hospital; e o atendimento médico foi priorizado para a cor verde e não a amarela. Os participantes demonstraram maior satisfação quanto ao ACCR em relação ao atendimento prestado por enfermeiras e recepcionistas, enquanto que a insatisfação foi quanto à estrutura física e às acomodações da unidade. Conclui-se que o serviço acolheu todos os usuários, porém há queixas acerca da estrutura da unidade, e usuários classificados na cor verde foram atendidos prioritariamente, contrapondo as diretrizes do ACCR. Objective: To analyze the activities performed by nurses in the care of patients after kidney transplantation. Method: Descriptive qualitative study conducted at the High Complexity Hospital in Teresina-PI. Data collection took place in November and December 2017. Ten nurses participated in the research. It was made the content analysis of statements. Results: The main cares performed by nurses in the postoperative follow-up of renal transplantation were vital signs verification and medication administration. The findings of the study allow us to state that the educational process developed by nurses related to discharge guidelines was deficient. There was some disorganization in the guidelines, causing doubts about the necessary care after transplantation. Conclusion: The nurse who works with kidney transplant assumes a commitment to the well-being of the patient from the preoperative phase, with teaching, performing examinations and follow-up, until the postoperative evaluation.

The humanization of healthcare is one of the key priorities of healthcare policies in Brazil, and directly reflects on the attitudes of user, employees and managers of health services. The aim of this study was to identify perception of the nursing team in terms of humanization of assistance in a neonatal and paediatric intensive care unit based on exploratory-descriptive research and a qualitative approach. A total of 11 members of a nursing team at the neonatal and paediatric intensive care unit of a hospital in southern Brazil participated in this study. Data was collected by means of semi structured interviews that were subsequently processed according to reference standards of thematic content analysis. This analysis resulted in three thematic categories: to humanize is to perceive the other as all-providing and all-supportive; bonding and communication as humanizing practices; and lack of ambience as a dehumanizing practice. Results showed that perception of the nursing team in relation to humanization is determined by the actual science and awareness of nursing care rather than specific acknowledgement of the National Humanization Policy.
