Acetylation and acetoxylation of 4-hydroxy-1,4-benzothiazin- and -benzoxazin-3(4H)-ones (cyclic hydroxamic acids)

Position imsubstituiertcn 2-Pyrazolin-5-onen ermoglichen [l, 21. ~-Yliden-t'-pyrazoIin-6-one, die durch Kondensation von I-Phenyl-2~pyrazolin-5-onen mit Diacetyl oder Acetophenon entstarlden sind, bilderi rbenfalls Azomethinfarbstoffe. I n diesem Fall rrfolgt jedoch die oxidative Kupplung an der Methylgruppe des Substituenten in der 4-Stellung. Durch die vinyloge Erweiterung des chromophoren Systems ist das Absorptionsmnximum nm etwa 50-60 nm bathochrom verschoben, und die Farbstoffr wrisen keine Pu'ebmabsorption [3] auf. Wir fanden, da5 auch 4-(~-Cyanoethyliden)-3-methyl-l -phenyl-?-pyrazolin-6-on ( l ) , das ails dem entsprechenden 4-(n-Ethoxyethyliden)-2-pyrazolin-5-on durch Umsetznng rnit NaCN dargestellt wurde [4], ziir Azomethinfarbstoffbildung geeignet ist. Die Kupplung mit den als photographischen Entwicklern gebrauchlichrn p-Phenylen-diaminen erfolgt ebenfalls an der Methylgruppe drs Substituenten in &Position.
