Academia-Industria Vínculos para la Formacion de los Instrumentistas

Abstract

It is analyzed the importance of the relationship between Academy and Industry as an area of relevance in the process of formation of the Instrumentation Technologist at the Faculty of Engineering at the Comfenalco Technological Foundation from Cartagena de Indias-Colombia. The development of the methodology of Focus Groups presented since in three scenarios: industry experts, graduates, teachers and representatives of industrial enterprises from Cartagena. Focus groups are conceived as places of encounter and clash of opinions of a group of people who bring their ways to take a specific reality with the purpose of generating valuable information for the researcher. Also, this qualitative research tool was established in binding data collection in communities around a theme of convergence as the formation process of the Instrumentalist. The data were processed through the computational tool Atlas ti; categories of analysis that allowed the process of theorizing are defined. The result of this research exercise generated a process of collective reflection and allowed a rethinking of instrumentalist profile, skills and therefore the curriculum. Among the conclusions are the reorientation and oxygenation of the curriculum and significant contributions to the state of the art of the training in the field of Industrial Instrumentation Technology were made.
