Absorption of Low-Dose Ultraviolet Radiation by Mycosporine-like Amino Acids Induced by the Dinoflagellate <i>Prorocentrum micans</i>

Abstract: Marine dinoflagellates synthesize ultraviolet absorbing compounds, such as mycosporine-like amino acids (MAAs), at high ultraviolet radiation (UVR) to protect from UVR damage.
