“…Time-lapse cinematography imaging has rendered more information of human embryonic development and growth behaviour in comparison with conventional practice or intermittent observation. Basically, this has shed more light on the elementary descriptions of embryo development [12] and enables compression of the entire course of early embryo development into a short movie; hence this technique can potentially progress in morphologic and chronologic analyses of dynamic embryo developmental patterns, making an important contribution to ART [13]. The combination of optimal incubation conditions for early developing embryos and a time-lapse embryo monitoring system are certainly of special meaning in terms of gaining complete information of the development of embryos and assessing their quality for transfer and freezing.…”

“…More recently, time-lapse analysis revealed impaired developmental dynamic in both human and mouse BB-embryos, in terms of timing of blastulation, expansion/contraction movements and hatching (Duncan et al 2009, Terada et al 2009, Ugajin et al 2010, Bar-el et al 2016, Cimadomo et al 2016, Yao et al 2016. No information on developmental dynamic following TB has been published so far.…”

“…The standard morphologic criteria include the addition of cells following biopsy (the occurrence of cleavage following biopsy), the presence or absence of compaction, the formation of blastocysts, and the grading of the embryo [12]. Studies using static evaluation of mouse embryos following blastomere biopsy showed that the procedure resulted in an earlier compaction [13] and yielded evidence of developmental delay in both mouse and human [14,15] embryos. Scott et al reported a significant reduction in implantation potential following cleavage-stage biopsy [4].…”
