This paper considers the importance of improving students' sensitivity to culture, cultivating cultural awareness in the foreign language learning environment in order to develop the students' communicative competence. The authors analyze the inside constituents of the concept of culture. The influence of these components on verbal and communicative behavior of representatives of different cultures is reviewed. The purpose of this research paper was to implement our findings concerning fundamental components of the concepts of communicative competence and intercultural communication into a new course «Intercultural Business Communication» targeted at improving students' sensitivity to culture, cultivating cultural awareness in the foreign language learning environment.

Аннотация Актуальность поставленной в статье проблемы обусловлена необходимостью сформировать полифункциональную компетентность у будущих менеджеров гостиничных и туристических комплексов. Эти менеджеры должны участвовать в жесткой конкурентной борьбе за вакантные места и сферы деятельности, владеть современными информационно-коммуникационными средствами, ориентироваться в гостиничном и туристическом бизнесе, то есть обладать полифункциональной компетентностью. Однако в вузах до сих пор отсутствует единая интегративная (междисциплинарная) основа подготовки таких специалистов, нет комплекса обучающих информационных и технических средств, стратегий и технологий обучения, обоснованных организационно-педагогических условий. Цель исследования: на основе анализа организационно-педагогических условий процесса подготовки специалистов к профессиональной деятельности в сфере гостиничного сервиса и туризма определить содержание, структуру, особенности формирования полифункциональной компетентности будущих менеджеров, ориентированных на деятельность в сфере гостиничного сервиса и туризма. Методология исследования базируется на концепции ключевой компетентности (Гэри Хэмел, И. Пригожин и др.), которая предполагает систематизацию, классификацию значимых (корневых, результирующих, автономных и др.) проблем, разработку на этой основе матрицы значимых проблем и определение общей стратегии, технологии управления процессом развития организации и персонала. Новизна исследования заключается в том, что разработана матрица значимых проблем магистерской подготовки будущих менеджеров к деятельности в сфере гостиничного сервиса и туризма; определены стратегии и технологии формирования у них полифункциональной компетентности. Результаты исследования внедрены в практику в виде содержания, структуры и организационно-педагогических условий подготовки будущих магистров к деятельности в сфере гостиничного сервиса и туризма.

The article examines the problem of digital education in high school in terms of its psychological risks and effects. The aim of the work is to identify the psychological effects of the transformation of higher education in the digital age and to determine the priority trends of psychological support in the digital educational process. In the theoretical aspect of this study the analysis of the problem of psychological risks and challenges of digital education in high school is presented on the basis of domestic and foreign experience of transition to a remote format of education. Methods of theoretical analysis of modern sources on this problem were applied, in particular, cognitive and personal-developing approach to professional and professional-pedagogical education. The author refers to the separate articles on digital education in high school. The work analyzes the sociopsychological aspects of digital education reflecting the person-oriented system risks, communicative competence risks, individual psychological security risks and a new type of students in the digital age. The article reveals only some of the psychological effects of digitalization discussed in studies on this issue. As a result, the priority trends of digital education psychological effects in high school were identified.
