The YouTube channel “Serbian Composers” was founded in 2012 by four musicology students from Belgrade. As the first page dedicated to both art music and applied music of Serbian composers on this popular video-sharing website, over the past 11 years this channel has shown itself to be an excellent platform for the promotion, multi-media archiving, research, digitalization, and preservation of Serbian music. The founders of the channel—nowadays active researchers in the field—recognized the potential of YouTube for applied musicological work and worked diligently on making this channel the most reliable online source for anyone interested in Serbian composers and their works. In this article, we elaborate on what working on this channel throughout the years has entailed. We cover the realities of both the social media and internet presence of one such endeavor and situate the research in the domain of seeing YouTube as an informal multimedia archive. We also discuss the ongoing processes of collecting music and data, digitalization and preservation, selection and categorization, and the presentation of material on YouTube and other relevant social media platforms.

This research adopts a qualitative approach, employing a case study method to explore the impact of technology integration in the teaching of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SDN Cilengkrang. Data collection is conducted through interviews, observations, and document analysis to gain deep insights into the experiences of teachers and students regarding the instructional model that incorporates technology. The research aims to provide a detailed understanding of how technology, including PAI software and online platforms, influences the engagement and comprehension of religious concepts among students. The data analysis process in this study is inductive, where researchers systematically explore patterns, themes, and relationships emerging from interviews, observations, and document analysis. Thus, the research aims to comprehensively describe the positive impact of technology integration in PAI learning. The findings of this research support existing literature and emphasize the potential of dynamic PAI learning, integrating cognitive aspects with religious values. The success of technology integration in PAI teaching at SDN Cilengkrang, despite facing challenges in teacher training, has significant positive implications. Serving as a foundation for improving the quality of PAI teaching, this research opens new opportunities for more dynamic and holistic learning experiences.

Technology continues to develop so that it causes changes in the pattern of human life without exception, also in education. This technological advancement requires teachers to develop and adjust additional competencies, one of which is using new technology in the learning process. Learning media can be interpreted as learning process aids that include subject matter information. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the use of YouTube videos on improving students' English learning outcomes. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with a type of Quasi Experiment with a form of nonequivalent control group design. This research uses data analysis techniques, namely descriptive statistical analysis, analysis prerequisite tests, hypothesis tests, and n-gain analysis. The results of the hypothesis test in this study obtained the sig value. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, this shows that the variables of YouTube video-based learning media have a significant effect on student English learning outcomes.
