Wireless sensor networks (WSN) are the new speed-accelerating technologies worldwide and are used continuously in a range of critical applications. Any damage or compromise to data security could have physical and direct effects on network efficiency and safety. One of the active areas of research is key management, authentication, and trust management in wireless sensor networks (WSN). Since researchers have provided many protection schemes, it is difficult to select which key management or trust management schemes in a specific WSN application suit best. We did a detailed survey in our paper on how the properties of various trust management, authentication, and key management schemes can be used for specific applications. Based on this review, we present the methodologies, advantages, and limitations of the previously proposed key management, authentication, and trust management scheme in WSN. The goal of this thorough analysis is to compare and find the correct security solution that successfully meets the requirements of the application. Moreover, the strength, weaknesses, and open problems are added that can extend more frontiers to get the best security solutions in the future.s

Edge computing is a research hotspot that extends cloud computing to the edge of the network. Due to the recent developments in computation, storage and network technology for end devices, edge networks have become more powerful, making it possible to integrate locator/identity separation protocol (LISP) into these networks. Accordingly, in this paper, we introduce LISP into edge routers at the edge network, focusing primarily on the delay problem of mapping resolution and cache updating in LISP with the help of edge computing. To solve this delay problem, we first analyze the communication process of the locator/identity separation network and consider using the prediction method to underpin this research. In order to achieve a good prediction result, we propose and implement a Fixed Identity Mapping Prediction Algorithm (FIMPA) based on collaborative filtering, and further verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm through experiments on real-world data.

Wireless sensor networks consist of a set of connected devices deployed to report sensitive environmental data. Key management in wireless sensor networks remains a challenging issue due to the limited resource capacity of devices. Most existing solutions focus only on the key storage and updating optimization giving less attention to the mobility, which is more needed in the nowadays applications. In this paper, we propose a secure and efficient key management system with mobility support. The proposed scheme is based on hybrid key establishment to meet both the robustness and efficiency requirements. The sensor nodes can be mobile, where they could leave, rejoin their cluster, or join other ones. We incorporate lightweight techniques for sensor node integration, departure, revocation and key updating. Its efficiency is evaluated by comparison with other concurrent schemes, where it demonstrates the best results.
