Abstract:Far-infrared photoconductivity measurement at 1.5 to 10 K confirms the existence of an A+ center and an A+ related complex in zinc doped germanium. Hole binding energies of the A+ center and the A+ related complex are estimated as about 2 and 7 meV, respectively, from the lower energy threshold of photoconductivity and the dependence of photoconductivity on temperature.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
