Abstract:The reduction behavior of silica supported iron and platinum-iron catalysts were studied by combined in situ temperature programmed reduction (TPR)-Mtssbauer Spectroscopy 0VIBS). The results indicated that the TPR profiles of the supported Fe catalysts were different fi'om that ofbttlk cc-Fe203. There existed an interaction between the Pt and Fe metals and the SiO2 support for the Pt-Fe/SiO2 catalyst. On the supported iron-containing catalysts, the Fe 3+ species were highly dispersed on the SiO2 support before… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
