Based on the results of a previous study on the undergraduate education program of the second stage of the Korea Energy and Mineral Resources Engineering Program, the priority, continuation, and improvements operation plan of the previously operated education program were studied. Results of Importance-satisfaction analysis, Borich needs assessment model, and Locus for Focus Model confirm the need for implementation of short-term on-site training, career counseling and mentoring by experts in the field, internship programs, field education, lectures by global experts in the field, overseas advancement programs, educational and industrial cooperation research, and university convergence programs, in that order. Therefore, improvements and supplements are recommended through ① software education, ② lectures by experts (short-term on-site training, career counseling and mentoring by experts in the field, lectures by global experts in the field, and integration of intensive programs for major foreign languages), ③ field education (including overseas courses), and ④ internship programs and discontinuation of the university convergence programs.
