A Study on Evaluation of Restoring Force Characteristics of Tensile Brace Shear Wall Using L－shaped Brace Connector

Abstract

In this study, focused on the tensile brace shear wall using L-shaped brace connectors that connect the ends of a brace and columns, which have become popular in recent years, static shear loading tests of the single-braced shear wall specimens were conducted. Then, static pushover analyses of the tensile brace shear walls with the L-shaped brace connector were conducted and evaluation of the effect of the thickness of the connector, the number of screws and the length of screws on the load-story displacement relationship was done.
