“…At the same time, it should be noted that at the time of this research abortion was legal in Poland on three conditions: when pregnancy poses a threat to the life or health of the pregnant woman, when prenatal tests or other medical indications suggest a high probability of a severe and irreversible impairment in the fetus or an incurable life-threatening disease and when there is a justified suspicion that the pregnancy resulted from a prohibited act, i.e., rape [26].
