“…According to the wear test results, it was stated that the main wear mechanism is adhesion and delamination. In the study investigating the effect of Mg addition 0, 2, 3 and 4 Wt.% to Al-12Si eutectic alloy on casting quality and wear properties (Uludağ, 2020), the best wear properties (ball on-disc test) was obtained with the highest (4%) Mg addition.
