“…These particles were uniformly distributed in the form of heterogeneous spherical clusters. The results agreed with what was found by [13,10], who indicated that the shape, distribution, and sizes of biosynthetic chitosan nanoparticles were heterogeneous spherical shapes with sizes between 3-110 nm.…”

“…As the Na2SeO4 sodium selenite solution used at a concentration of 1 Mm added to the biomass leachate changed its color to orange (2-B), although the color of the mold leachate before addition was colorless (Figure 2-A). The color change is an initial indicator of the ability of the metabolic products of mold to disintegrate the metal compounds added to them and form nanoparticles from their decomposition resulting from the reductive action of sodium selenite Na2SeO4, and that the resulting color change could be a result of surface plasmon excitation (the basis of this vibration is for electron conduction groups) The results agreed with [10] and [17], where the color was transformed from colorless to orange. The results also showed the formation of Se-NPs loaded with Zinc through the use of biosynthesis of A. niger mold filtrate to transform selenium nanoparticles into their associated nanoparticles (Figure 3).…”

“…Among metal(loid) NMs, those based on selenium (Se) have gained momentum. Indeed, this element is biocompatible and a known essential micronutrient that, due to its physical–chemical versatility, finds application in diverse fields ranging from biomedicine to renewable energy production. , The microbial production of SeNMs provides the biotechnological benefit of recovering a rare earth element such as Se in a nontoxic form, gaining, at the same time, suitable products for developing novel technologies. Specifically, microorganisms can synthesize stable biogenic SeNMs (bSeNMs) of different sizes and morphologies with good antimicrobial, anticancer, antioxidant, and photoluminescence properties. …”
