A Simple Fluorescent Aptasensing Platform Based on Graphene Oxide for Dopamine Determination

Abstract: Dopamine (DA) is a catecholamine neurotransmitter playing an important role in different biological functions including central nervous, renal, cardiovascular, and hormonal systems. The sensitive and selective detection of this neurotransmitter plays a key role in the early diagnosis of various diseases related to abnormal levels of dopamine. Therefore, it is of great importance to explore rapid, simple, and accurate methods for detection of dopamine with high sensitivity and speci city. We propose in this wor… Show more

“…This method aims to find a polynomial that fit the experimental data well and determines the optimal conditions based on the variables and their effect on each other. 32 From our preliminary experiments and literature 33 , 34 the concentration of EDC, ethanolamine (EA), and aptamer were identified as the critical input parameters that significantly influence Hb detection. The concentration range and levels of the selected parameters are shown in Table 1.…”

“…A 57-mer anti-DA DNA aptamer was reported with good affinity ( K d = 150 nM) by Nakatsuka et al in 2018 . After that, various aptasensors or aptasensing method were developed for the determination of DA by the employment of colorimetric, fluorescence, , electrochemical, , and electrogenerated chemiluminescence (electrochemiluminescence, ECL) methods.…”
