Orientation: South Africa’s entrepreneurial landscape faces multiple challenges that minimise the growth of established firms. Ethical misconduct is one of the main challenges entrepreneurs encounter in their business activities.Research purpose: To gain deeper insight into the entrepreneurs’ narratives of the types and management of ethical misconduct when engaging in entrepreneurial activities.Motivation for the study: Entrepreneurs are central to economic development and alleviating challenges, such as poverty, employment creation and economic inclusion. Therefore, managing challenges that hinder their growth will contribute to the country’s economic development.Research design, approach and method: This study used narrative qualitative research to gather data on business ethical misconduct types and their management strategies. A sample of 17 established entrepreneurs participated in one-hour semi-structured interviews. Focusing on established entrepreneurs with more than three years in business provided real experiences of ethical misconduct and their management. Thematic narrative analysis was used to analyse the participants’ experiences and develop key themes from the data.This study used narrative qualitative research to gather data on business ethical misconduct types and their management strategies. The moral nature of corporations has been discussed for a long time. But, since 2001, with enormous economic effects of the misconduct of some corporations this discussion gained another dimension, it moved into the public sphere, the subject became more sensitive. The anger and mistrust of the public toward business triggered legislators and corporations to take urgent action. For example, just after the collapse of Enron (2001) the American Congress passed the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (2002) that covers the responsibilities of boards of directors and requires compliance training at all levels. It also revived the old controversial arguments about the nature of business -whether the only purpose of business is to make profits, the relationship of business and ethics -whether business ethics is an oxymoron, and human nature -whether it is 'bad apples' or 'bad barrels'. Yet, with new sets of regulations, in 2017, we are still witnessing the misconduct of corporations on a global scale. This article investigates the effectiveness of corporate efforts such as revisiting mission statements, polishing the codes of ethics and conducting training, by evaluating the nature of business, human nature and the understanding of ethics in the workplace. By looking through the lens of utilitarianism of ethical issues in business, I will argue that codes of ethics and ethics training are necessary but not sufficient. Within the scope of this paper I wish to pave the way to a holistic approach which is necessary and sufficient to create ethical businesses.

Chinese students began learning English during compulsory education, have a long history of English learning, and focus on vocabulary, grammar, and other aspects of the language in middle school. Teaching resources include a variety of teaching conditions, such as materials. In a broad sense, they also include educational policies and other contents. They typically include teaching materials, cases, films and television, pictures, courseware, teacher resources, teaching aids, and infrastructure. In this case, cloud computing provides a good technical platform for solving the problems mentioned above in college English teaching (CET). Cloud computing enables the desktop use of Internet resources while reducing personal computer performance. In this paper, we will create a data resource data bank based on the cloud computing concept, making the most of existing resources, avoiding repeated development, and achieving curriculum content sharing. Reduce the cost of developing online courses, shorten the development cycle, and ensure that they are of high quality. This paper investigates the use of cloud computing to build a CET resource data bank. The cloud computing platform enables multiperson collaboration, document creation, editing, and sharing, all of which are characteristics of constructivism and collaborative learning theory.
