RESUMO: Examina-se o impacto das reformas neoliberais e da pós-modernização ingênua do pensamento educacional como instrumentos articulados de desconstrução do pensamento progressista e de retorno a teses positivistas/pragmatistas no campo da educação. Mascaradas como incertezas, exaltadas como diferenças e justificadas como caos, sua função é impedir-nos de pensar o futuro e abrir espaço para que ele seja planejado na ótica das necessidades do capital, com plena liberdade de valorização. Procura-se ainda mostrar como as reformas educacionais dos anos de 1990, desenvolvidas nesse contexto, viabilizaram, apoiando-se na avaliação informal, novas formas de exclusão pelo interior do sistema educacional, mantendo intacta sua tarefa de formar para a submissão, por meio da ocultação do debate sobre as finalidades da educação. ASSESSMENT AND THE 1990S' REFORMS: NEW FORMS OF EXCLUSION, OLD FORMS OF SUBORDINATIONABSTRACT: This paper explores the impact of both the neoliberal reforms and the naive post-modernization of thought as articulated tools to deconstruct the progressive thought and go back to positivist/pragmatist theses in the field of education. Concealed as uncertainties, exalted as differences, justified as chaos, these tools attempt to prevent us from thinking about the future and open spaces to plan it according to the needs of capital, enabling all kinds of valorization. Child sex abuse increasingly is recognised as a societal problem that can no longer be ignored. In this paper definitions, prevalence, trends, assessment, and available diagnostic procedures are described and critically evaluated. It is argued that the lack of reliable diagnostic procedures remains one of the main difficulties in dealing effectively with the detrimental effects of CSA on the child or adult. The research challenge to find effective alternative procedures is outlined.
