“…Recently, many research groups have devoted attention to exploration of the effects of AAO nanoconfinement, which alters physical, chemical, and mechanical properties, on molecular dynamics, molecular orientation, morphology transformation , and so forth. Especially, nanoconfinement effects on various geometries have been reported to influence the thermal glass transition of amorphous polymers .…”

“…For fabrication of polymer nanofibers using an AAO nanoporous template, effective results of molten polymer fluidity and polymer solution fluidity in nanochannels have been clarified, generally emphasizing polymer properties , AAO properties, and wetting parameters such as time, pressure, temperature, nanochannel pore size, and an interfacial surface between the molten polymer and nanochannel surface . The molten polymer and polymer solution flowing ability depends strongly on filtration methods . Confinement of AAO porous walls alters the polymer molecular orientation and dynamics of polymer chains , and affects the nanostructure crystallization , glass temperature , polymer tacticity , and electron transportation .…”

“…Electrospinning has been considered as one of the simplest and most effective physical methods to prepare nanoscale 1D structures (nanofibers and nanorods) without any template [73,74]. The basic set up of electrospinning system includes three major components: high-voltage power supply, spinneret and an electrical conductive collector, as shown in Fig.…”

“…Anodization is a spontaneous process that oxidizes a material while creating cylindrical nanopores parallel to each other and perpendicular to their underlying metallic substrate . The layer anodized during the initial step is allowed to reach symmetry and then dissolved, leaving ordered concave pits in the substrate which serve as nucleation sites during the second anodization step .…”

“…Nanosphere lithography can be considered a hybrid approach; however, it is based on a bottom‐up self‐assembly of nanospheres. Anodization will be presented next; although, not widely applied for the fabrication of ultrathin membranes, this very well researched process has been successfully used for the production of nanoporous patterns and thick membranes. Although commonly considered a top‐down approach, nanoimprint techniques that utilize low‐cost or unique master molds have been included in this review.…”
