Innovation is the source of social progress, and all walks of life need to cultivate innovative talents. Therefore, it is also very important to cultivate innovative ability in physical education students in colleges and universities. The purpose of this paper is to study the cultivation of students’ innovative ability of physical education majors in colleges and universities based on the multimedia environment of the Internet of things and to open up a new path for the cultivation of college students’ innovative ability. In this paper, a terminal collaborative indoor positioning algorithm based on RSSI fingerprint optimization was proposed to study the innovation ability of physical education students in colleges and universities. Through experimental analysis, college A was taken as the research object, and 1500 students were investigated. Innovation had a very important position in the hearts of 76.21% of students, and 3.83% of students believed that innovation was not important. In the minds of most people, innovation was still very important, which showed that schools still had a certain effect on the education of students’ innovative consciousness. The experimental results obtained showed that the Internet of things technology played an important role in the research on the innovation ability of students majoring in physical education in colleges and universities.

The Internet of Things (IoT) plays a fundamental role in contemporary society, necessitating an in-depth comprehension of its application layer protocols, intertwined technologies, security issues, and effective countermeasures. This survey delivers an exhaustive analysis of these protocols, emphasizing the escalating significance of Explainable Artificial Intelligence in IoT (XAIoT). To elucidate its practical implications, we conducted a case study examining a real-world scenario where XAIoT significantly bolstered IoT security. This case study demonstrated XAIoT's potential to enhance transparency and trustworthiness in IoT systems. Furthermore, the survey critically evaluates existing literature, pinpointing specific opportunities and gaps in the present state of IoT application layer security. For instance, our analysis revealed a pressing need for more robust security protocols and the integration of advanced machine learning techniques for anomaly detection in IoT applications. This survey, designed to provide a comprehensive perspective, seeks to stimulate additional innovation and research in the realm of secure and intelligent IoT applications. In doing so, it contributes to the ongoing dialogue on improving IoT security, offering valuable insights for researchers and practitioners alike.

Communication systems and networks are evolving as an integral part of not only of our everyday life but also as a part of the industry, fundamental infrastructures, companies, etc. Current directions and concepts, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), promise enhanced quality of life, greater business opportunities, cost-effective manufacturing, and efficient operation management through ubiquitous connectivity and deployment of smart physical objects. IoT networks are able to collect, preprocess, and transmit a huge amount of data. A considerable portion of this data is security-and privacycritical data, which makes IoT networks a tempting option for attackers. Given that these networks deal with the actual aspects of our lives and fundamental infrastructures (e.g. smart grids), cybersecurity in such networks is crucial. The large scale of these networks and their unique characteristics and complexity bring further vulnerabilities. In this study we give an introduction to IoT, focusing on the IoT application layer, security requirements, threats, and countermeasures in this layer, and some of the open issues and future research lines.
