A Review on Palitya Chikitsa in Brihattrayi

Abstract: We live in a world where pollution is increasing at an alarming rate which is directly degrading the quality and natural color of hairs. Moreover, stress which is the other important factor in greying of hair is evident in everyone's life. Thus, in today's times the problem of greying of hair is on the rise. Premature greying of hairs is a trouble which reduces one's self confidence and increases the dependence on harmful chemical dyes. A large number of people are now totally dependent on harmful synthetic pr… Show more

“…Due to the properties of aerogels, such as a large surface area and small particle size [1,2], in addition to the fact that they can be made from metal oxides (for example, rare-earth oxides) [3], they have aroused great interest for use in photoluminescent applications [4,5], mainly as nanophosphors. Phosphors (inorganic luminescent materials) have been extensively studied for their use in displays and are currently used in high-definition television displays (HDTV), plasma displays (PDP), cathode ray tubes (CRT), and field emission displays (FED) [6,7].…”

“…On the whole, the problem of obtaining low-density silica glasses has long been solved both at the laboratory and at the industrial level. The density of such glasses is presented in a wide range—from a density close to the density of ordinary silica glass (dense microporous silica ceramics with a density of about 2.2 g/cm ) [ 14 ] to extremely expanded structures (aerogels with a density of several mg/cm ) [ 15 ]. Technologies for manufacturing membranes from such materials have also been developed.…”
