Named data networking (NDN) is a typical representation and implementation of information-centric networking and serves as a basis for the next-generation Internet. However, any network architectures will face information security threats. An attack named interest flooding attack (IFA), which is evolved, has becomes a great threat for NDN in recent years. Attackers through insert numerous forged interest packets into an NDN network, making the cache memory of NDN router(s) overrun, interest packets for the intended users. To take a comprehensive understanding of recent IFA detection and mitigation approaches, in this paper, we compared nine typical approaches to resolving IFA attacks for NDN, which are interest traceback, token bucket with per interface fairness, satisfaction-based interest acceptance, satisfaction-based push back, disabling PIT exhaustion, interest flow control method based on user reputation and content name prefixes, interest flow balancing method focused on the number of requests on named data networking, cryptographic route token, Poseidon local, and Poseidon distributed techniques. In addition, we conducted a simulation using Poseidon, a commonly used IFA resolution approach. The results showed that Poseidon could resolve IFA issues effectively.

Graphic User Interface (GUI) pada suatu sistem Internet of Things (IoT) salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh monitor yang mudah diakses, fleksibel, serta efisien dalam penggunaannya. Hal ini sudah banyak didiskusikan namun masalah tersebut masih belum dapat ditingkatkan. Salah satu solusi dari masalah tersebut adalah dengan dihadirkannya MQTT Adafruit, yang mana dengan menggunakan MQTT Adafruit GUI untuk memonitor suatu sistem IoT dapat mempermudah kontrol dan kendali jarak jauh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghadirkan sistem monitoring beban listrik dan perbaikan faktor daya menggunakan PZEM004T berbasis IoT yang sudah menggunakan MQTT Adafruit sebagai user interface-nya. Metode yang digunakan melalui pendekatan analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation (ADDIE). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sistem ini layak digunakan karena berdasarkan hasil percobaan faktor daya yang sebelumnya 0,35 menjadi 0,89 setelah dilakukan perbaikan faktor daya. Sistem ini juga memberikan kemudahan bagi pengguna dan dapat melakukan monitoring secara real time arus, tegangan, faktor daya, daya nyata, daya semu, dan daya reaktif baik hanya dengan menggunakan smartphone, laptop, tablet, maupun komputer. Berdasarkan hasil uji reliabilitas alat ini memiliki selisih yang kecil antara setiap hasil percobaan.

This research presents a web-based lighting laboratory infrastructure that allows students to access and control application tools in lighting technology education through online real-time equipment. Designed for Distance Vocational Training and Education, this system uses the LabVIEW Virtual Instrumentation Program to control lighting levels. In this program, the interface developed allows students to control and monitor applications online using cameras, sensors, and controllers. In the modeled system, the lighting levels of LED lamps are controlled through PID controllers. Furthermore, a web page was designed that provides synchronized (simultaneous) access to application instrumentation for the students. Each user can run applications in a specific period through this website. Students can also monitor the lighting level of the laboratory in real-time with a webcam. Individual storage of the data obtained in the model also supports conducting necessary analyses. Students can strengthen their theoretical knowledge by running lighting technique experiment applications with real equipment in the Distance Vocational Training and Education. In the evaluation part of the research, the answers are given by the students (95%) also stated that they increased the theoretical knowledge of doing remote experiments. In total 98.5% of students believe that the ability to repeat experiments anywhere in this system will accelerate the learning process.
