A relação família e escola: a diversidade familiar compondo o contexto escolar

Abstract

Resumo: O presente artigo se propõe a compreender como está sendo exercida a relação entre a escola e as famílias homomaternais, ou seja, as constituídas por duas mulheres que se autoidentificam como lésbicas e suas crianças, sob a ótica das mães. O estudo qualitativo contou com onze mulheres que possuem crianças em idade escolar. Foram utilizadas entrevistas narrativas para coletar os dados trazidos pelas mães e após assinatura do TCLE, as entrevistas foram gravadas e transcritas. As narrações foram analisadas sob a ótica dos estudos feministas de gênero e também da Psicologia Social Sócio-Histórica. Os resultados apontaram que ainda existe preconceito e estigmatizações contra quem está fora da norma heterossexual, porém podem ser identificados avanços na realidade escolar em entender o conceito de família de modo ampliado. Esses avanços podem indicar uma realidade brasileira tornando-se cada vez mais aberta para a ruptura de padrões estereotipados de modos de ser e de viver.Abstract: This article aims to understand, from the perspective of mothers, how it is being exercised the relationship between the school and the homomaternal families, that is, the ones consisting of two women who self-identify as lesbians and their children. The qualitative study included eleven women who have children of school age. Narrative interviews were used to collect the data brought by the mothers and, after signing an informed consent, the interviews were recorded and transcribed. The stories were analyzed from the perspective of feminist studies of gender and also social and sociohistorical psychology. The results showed that there are still prejudice and stigmatization against those outside the heterosexual norm. However, it is possible to identify advances in school reality to understand the concept of extended form of family. These advances may indicate a Brazilian reality becoming increasingly open to break down stereotyped patterns related to ways of being and living.Palavras-chave: gênero, escola, diversidade familiar, preconceito, homomaternidade.
