“…MnO 2 is a common material to enhance PDT treatment and imaging. Mn 2+ could react with H 2 O 2 in the tumor, then downregulate the expression of HIF-1 to increase oxygen content and optimize MRI imaging [ 138 , 139 ]. A nanoplatform based on mesoporous polydopamine (MPDA) modified with Pt also produces O 2 by decomposing overexpressed H 2 O 2 in the tumor.…”

“…Among various biological stimulus imaging probes such as pH, , enzyme, , redox, and so on, redox-activated imaging probes are extremely intriguing because of the important role of redox processes in organisms. The reduced glutathione, a peptide composed of glutamic acid, cysteine, and glycine, is an essential endogenous antioxidant that plays a vital part in physiological functions such as defense against toxins and free radicals. , In addition, the concentration of GSH is implicated in many diseases typically associated with cancer, dementia, or neurodegenerative diseases . To date, GSH-responsive 19 F MRI probes were mainly constructed by introducing redox sensitive moieties such as disulfide linkers and 4-dinitrobenzenesulfonyl groups in fluorinated polymers.…”
