A Qualified Account of Supererogation: Toward a Better Conceptualization of Corporate Social Responsibility

Abstract: Some firms are initiating pro-stakeholder activities and policies that transcend conventional corporate social responsibility (CSR) conceptions and seem inconsistent with their business interests or economic responsibilities.
