A protocol for the use of roadkill or stranded animals as material for research and teaching

Abstract: Many aspects of the Brazilian fauna dynamics remain unknown. Often, researches on zoology depend on invasive protocols that require the death of specimens of rare or endangered species. This is the first time a combined protocol is proposed for the use of roadkill or stranded animals in research and teaching by different professionals.
