A Produção De Sabão Artesanal Como Perspectiva Sustentável No Ensino De Biologia

Abstract

<p class="ResumoRevista">Desde o início do processo de industrialização, a população mundial cresceu de maneira significativa, consumindo de forma rápida e intensa os recursos naturais. É urgente a necessidade de práticas em que o ser individual (re)construa valores sociais, conhecimentos, habilidades, atitudes e competências, voltados para a vida coletiva e para a conservação do meio ambiente. A prática de reutilização de óleo de cozinha na produção de sabão artesanal foi abordada em uma oficina desenvolvida com estudantes do Ensino Médio. Essa atividade de caráter educativo e multiplicador envolveu questões a respeito da conscientização ambiental com vistas à sustentabilidade e possibilitou mobilizar os mesmos em torno da temática ambiental, ampliando as discussões e percepções acerca das consequências do descarte incorreto do óleo de cozinha no ambiente.</p>

Thoughts on pedagogical techniques and environmental issues developed in a soap-making workshop targeting the teacher's continuous formation

Subsequently, a slide show was held, where some questions about the environmental damage caused by the inadequate disposal of vegetable oil used in fried foods were listed, such as: decreased BOD (biochemical oxygen demand), negative effects on the local fauna, due to the lack of light entering water bodies, negative impacts caused to the soil, among others (13,14,18). Sabão artesanal: Alternativa para reduzir o descarte de óleos e gorduras na água

“…No contexto ambiental, a contaminação da água resultante do lançamento desses resíduos na rede de esgoto, compromete a qualidade dos recursos hídricos e afeta diretamente os ecossistemas aquáticos. A grande quantidade de óleo vegetal descartado anualmente no Brasil evidencia a necessidade de conscientização e ação em relação a esse problema (Carneiro et al, 2019). Apenas uma pequena parcela desse volume é reaproveitada, o que contribui para o acúmulo de resíduos nos sistemas de saneamento e para a contaminação dos corpos d'água.…”
