Abstract:Lichen aureus is a particularly rare subtype of pigmented purpuric dermatosis and is characterized by the sudden appearance of golden or rust‐colored macules or needle‐tip‐sized flat papules (concentrated in one region to form lichenoid papules) on the lower limbs.
