A novel ZnO/3A catalyst with coking resistance for acetylene acetoxylation

Abstract: A novel ZnO/3A (3A molecular sieve) catalyst was prepared by using a direct hydrolysis method and applied for acetylene acetoxylation. After optimizing the loading of Zn, we compared the catalytic performance of ZnO/3A and ZnO/AC (activated carbon), and found that catalytic performance of ZnO/3A was lower than ZnO/AC due to its weaker acetylene adsorption.
